Sutton Common Rovers at Colston Avenue
Sutton Common Rovers FC will be playing their home games at Colston Avenue next season.
SCR used to play their fixtures at Sutton United’s Gander Green lane, but in 2021 United had to rip up their 3G to meet the EFL ground grading requirements so SCR found a new home at Whyteleafe FC.
The directors of SCR raised the prospect of playing at Colston Avenue in 2023 and came to an agreement with the Robins at the beginning of 2024. Having agreed terms for the groundshare Carshalton Athletic has sought and received the necessary authorisation for the London Borough of Sutton and the Isthmian league.
Club Chairman Paul Dipre said “we look forward to welcoming both the directors and fans of SCR to Colston Avenue. I am sure they will enjoy the facilities”.
