For the entire 2024/2025 season Carshalton Athletic will be offering free entry to:
- Free entry to Women and Girls to all Men’s 1st team League Fixtures
- Free entry to ALL to all Women’s 1st team League Fixtures (see Super-Sundays)

Why
Women’s football lags behind the men’s game as a result of a 50 year ban imposed by the FA in 1921 – at that time it was decided that Women playing football was inappropriate (Really!) . Before it was banned, Women’s football was very popular and rivalled the Men’s game.
The ban was lifted in the 1970s, but (even now) Women’s football has not fully recovered from the 50 year exile – neither on the pitch nor in the stands
Our free-admission campaign is just doing our bit to put Women’s football “front-and-centre” alongside Men’s football.
Football is for All
Every Sunday is Super Sunday
“Super Sundays” is a celebration of Women’s football
– Our clubhouse will be open from 1pm.
– We will be serving our unique take on Sunday Lunch (Starting December 2024)
– Our Kids-Zone will be open (Starting December 2024) – so kids can play while you watch the game or enjoy our clubhouse.
– Our clubhouse will be showing that days premier league fixtures on the big LED screens
– Our fully Licenced bar will be open serving a wide range of beverages and snacks.
– Our Women’s first team will be kicking off their home games at 2.30pm, see our web site for fixtures
