What a victory
No, were not talking about our victory on the pitch, were talking about the victory in the stands. The gate at Horsham was over 1200 – out of which about 30 were Carshalton Fans, But for the entire 97 minutes you could only hear the supporters from one of the teams.
The 30 Robins fans sang their hearts out and without doubt the incredible support played its part on the day.
Club Chairman Paul Dipre said “I was standing close to them for most of the game and I’ve got to say – they were amazing. The energy and the enthusiasm was unbelievable. “
“These guys need to be recognised, not just for this game, but I’ve heard them dominate fixtures that they have no right to. Even when they are outnumbered 40 to 1 they come out on top. “
“I’m sure they know know how much Pete and the players value their support, they should know how much I value it too. ”
