Lamont praises incoming talent
Women’s first team boss, Aaron Lamont, says he is “pleased with the standard” of incoming trialists bidding for a place in the new Carshalton Athletic Women’s first team.
Thirty-five arrived for the first set of open trials on the 22nd April, about half of whom are looking to play first team football, and half for recreational football.
A similar number are expected at our next open trials on the 1st May.
“There are already a few players who I think could play a part in the campaign. The players know that I am not looking for mediocrity, the club has set ambitious targets for the team and I intend to achieve them”
